There are periods in life when it is difficult to see a way forward-- sometimes this happens because of a death, a loss, or a big change. Other times it is a result of life stresses piling up over time. If you are here, my guess is that you are struggling-- you may be missing someone or something, or you may be wondering what happened to the life you wanted to live-- the happiness you want to know. Whatever the circumstances, it is my heartfelt desire to see you rediscover purpose and joy-- I wholeheartedly believe that healing and growth are possible and that counseling can help you get there. In the midst of darkness and chaos, it can be hard to see the road ahead. In counseling, I will journey beside you as you find your path and support you in building the courage to walk it.

I provide individual therapy focused on pursuing lasting, life-changing healing and growth. In my experience lasting change results from willingness to confront all aspects of life-- even pain, anxiety, and fear-- in an honest and authentic way. My approach is gentle and highly client-centered--- I believe that you are the final expert on your own experience. In addition to individual therapy, I also lead nature-based ecotherapy groups.
I believe that both creative expression and engagement with nature can be deeply healing to the troubled soul, and when clients are willing, I love incorporating these things into our sessions.
Though my primary areas of focus are grief and adjustment, I am experienced in the treatment of numerous mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, and more.
I provide counseling in English and American Sign Language.

Since it is important that you feel safe and comfortable with your therapist, we will start with a free 30 minute consultation. Again, my top priority is that you feel like your therapist is a good fit for you, whether that's me or someone else.

Your privacy is of utmost importance to me. To protect your privacy, please avoid sharing intimate details over email. We can talk more about your situation during our consultation and you will have the opportunity to fill out detailed intake forms if you choose to begin therapy with me.

My Rates
The rate for each therapy session is $165.
Group therapy rates vary depending on group duration and location.
The initial consultation is free.
Forms of Payment: I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. As all payment is due at time of service, I strongly encourage clients using remote counseling services to pay with a card. Checks and money orders may be mailed in advance by remote clients, but must be received prior to the start of the therapy session.
Insurance: I do not bill any insurance companies directly. Some insurance plans cover out-of-network services. As an out-of-network provider I am happy to provide you with a receipt which you can submit to your insurance company should you wish to seek reimbursement. Please speak with your insurance provider directly to find out what services are covered. Remember that all payment is due at time of services.
Cancellation Policy: Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. Missed appointments without notice will be billed at the regular rate.
