Grief Counseling
When someone you love dies, your whole world changes. Grief often comes with a whole host of emotions-- sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, and guilt are all common. There are some circumstances, such as after a prolonged illness, where these emotions may also be mixed with a sense of relief which can be distressing as well. If you are struggling to process your grief, you may find that you have a more difficult time taking care of yourself, for example remembering to eat, sleep, or bathe. You may feel like you are just going through the motions. Things that used to come easily may feel utterly daunting now. Grief can also be isolating-- even when you are surrounded by people, you may find yourself feeling alone. You may be sitting here now wondering how you will go on without the one you lost.
I don't know your circumstances yet, but the fact that you are reading this tells me one thing-- you are hurting and you are looking for someone to help. I'm glad you're here.
I offer evening and weekend sessions for your convenience.
Let's set a time to talk.
I know that it can be hard to reach out, but if you are grieving, I encourage you to do so. We will start with a short chat to find out what you are looking for and to decide if counseling with me will be a good fit for you.
